In 2020, WEMC integrated and optimized its ISO9001:2015 and introduced the automotive quality management system IATF16949:2016. In this year, WEMC passed the audit of the third-party certification company and obtained IATF16949:2016 certificate successfully. 

After two annual supervised audits in recent 3 years, WEMC is under its IATF16949 renewal audit.

According to the scheme, the accreditation audit consists of the first meeting, the audit implementation and the last meeting, and the audit is carried out around the three guiding processes of customer, management and support. On the customer side, staff review from customer requirements, design and development, manufacturing, delivery and feedback; On the management side, the relevant managers of the company submit reports to the reviewers in the aspects of business planning, internal audit, management review and management improvement; On the support side, staff review WEMC's documentation management, human resources management, facility tooling management, measuring equipment management, procurement supplier management, inspection and unqualified product management and propose suggestions for improvement.

After a three-day audit, constant reporting and improvement, WEMC successfully passed the first renewal audit of IATF16949.
