With rapid development of electric vehicles, demands of higher power applications have been explosively required. Correspondingly, the same requirements are also valid in anechoic chambers that test EV or EV parts. In order to match them, WEMC has constantly designed and verified for high voltage/current filters, as far, 10kV and 15kV filters are successfully verified and installed on chambers.

WEMC is involved in a new project recently, with a requirement of 25kV filters for an anechoic chamber. It is really a challenge. For testing and verifying of these filters, WEMC has a new idea.

"When we have requirements researching high voltage products before, we must go to third parties testing high voltage capacitors and filters. But this time, we do it ourselves!" Xiao Wei, Deputy General Manager of WEMC stated. "From now on, by the help of this system, WEMC will be equipped with a complete high voltage testing capacity. It has a great significance, to accelerate our design rate, to ensure the whole quality."

This partial discharge system, operated according to IEC-60270, providing up to 75kV testing range. Positioned inside a shielded room, the basic noise can be less than 0.01PC.
