WEMC has recently completed partial discharge (PD) testing on a 35 kV, 600 A high-voltage EMI filter, further validating its performance and insulation reliability for demanding high-voltage applications. The tested filter delivers a shielding effectiveness of 100 dB from 14 kHz upwards, ensuring effective suppression of conducted electromagnetic interference across a broad frequency range.
Partial discharge testing is a critical step in assessing insulation integrity under high electric stress and is essential for ensuring long-term operational reliability in high-voltage systems.
